It was such an honor to spend the day with them and photograph them in downtown San Luis Obispo. I've known Jon for as long as I have known my husband. He's one in a million and has found his one in a million. Congrats to you guys! Can't wait for the big day in January. xo
In love with this tropical inspired nursery. The flamingos!!! Happy birthday Josephine.
This sweet little lady was a doll to photograph. Josephine has such sweet parents who live in a bungalow in Silverlake with a porch covered with bright magenta bougainvillea.
I adore all newborn sessions, but there's something special when there's the addition of a sibling. This session with newborn Elise and big sister April is so sweet. I love how snuggly this little babe is amongst the yellow daisies. And of course we made sure to capture some natural family moments.
This little sweetheart is 2. I had such a blast photographing Morgan and big brother Tommy. Beware parents, you will almost ALWAYS end up in the photos so come prepared like Ryan and Angela did. We get so wrapped up in the kiddos and wanting to document them as they grow, but keep in mind that you and your significant other are also growing and evolving as parents. You learn new things every day about yourself. So, remember to hop in those photos. You won't regret it!
Happy Mother's Day to all the mother's out there. It really does take a village to raise these little babes and I know I couldn't do it without the love and support near and far from my people.
About a month ago, I had the privilege of photographing a amazing few military wives and their kiddos while their husbands are deployed. It was such a fun day and I love how the images turned out. Most importantly though, I've loved getting to know a few of the ladies who's kids go to school with Georgia. I am in awe of their everyday strength as they maneuver through this deployment and act as both mother and father to their children. In addition to being kick a$$ mother's, they also are the first to send a sweet message or drop off a meal if your kid is sick.
Happy to know these ladies and to have had the opportunity to capture them and their kiddos in this special time in their lives.
Happy Mother's Day!
This adorable, and might I add stylish, family's story began at the Griffith Observatory where Adrian proposed to Jess. What a meaningful backdrop for this family session. They are soon to welcome a new addition to their family. Congrats you guys!
Can't go wrong with a rustic looking orchid farm and a sweet little family. Having a 2.5 year old myself, I was ready to run around and capture Isla in her element. She is going to make a wonderful big sister. Susie, Anthony and big sister Isla just welcomed baby sister Cara into their little family last week. I can't wait to meet her. Congratulations!!
I had such a great time photographing this casual newborn session. Baby Miles and big sister Ava are so loved and oh, so sweet! In true newborn fashion, Miles was wide awake for the entire shoot and Ava was such a trooper. When I showed up, she had just gotten stung by a bee! We made the most of the situation and got some really fun family photos that I love!
We recently moved into a new home because with a little one on the way, our current home was just too small. We were all very sad to leave our first home so I thought, what better way to preserve some of the memories, than to schedule an at home session? I'm sharing my faves from the day. I am SO HAPPY that we made the time to do this before the move. Thanks Jess!
I love this newborn session with sweet 1 week old Lilah. Jasmine and baby toes...doesn't get any better.
How adorable is Hugo!? He is such a smiley baby. We had such a great time at Lucy Park in San Marino. Oh, and thanks Mom for bring me the rocking chair from when I was little. It made the perfect prop for this portrait session.
Little Miss Norah Joy photographed on her actual due date at just 10 days old. Such a sweetheart. Congratulations Mary and Jack!!!
One of my all time favorite photo shoots to date. Jessica and Chris are a beautiful couple and they were so much fun to photograph during this special time in their life. They welcomed a precious little girl a few weeks after this was taken. Congrats!
What a perfect setting for this glowing mommy to be? She had requested a beach location and when I found this golden field overlooking the ocean in Malibu, I squealed. It was stunning!
So flattered when other photographers ask me to photograph them. Juvenia and Jason wanted to bottle up that California sun in photos before they moved to Portland. What better way to say goodbye to CA then with a maternity session in Malibu. Oh, and we did some really fun shots in the pool! So much fun! Miss you guys!
Love this family. I went to photography school with Michelle. She met her love, Navid while we were there and they have since tied the knot and had two beautiful children. Thanks for letting me capture Teagan as a newborn. So special.
Just a few pretty images from my maternity session with Sonja at the Arlington Gardens.
